RecordMyDesktop Parameters For YouTube

A few minutes ago, I did a Google search for “RecordMyDesktop parameters for YouTube” and I didn’t find what I was looking for. I just wanted the parameters to use, not a long explanation.

Here are the parameters/settings I’m using, for future reference:

recordmydesktop --v_quality=30 --fps=10 --device=default --overwrite

Assuming you’re in a terminal, this creates an out.ogv file in the current directory, which can be uploaded to YouTube. If you’re not sure where the video is, remember you can always type pwd to get the “present working directory.”
