Hmm, is this the feature I asked for? Not sure yet.

"New features in Google Apps

Support for organizations with multiple domains
Multi-domain support allows organizations with two or more domains on Google Apps to manage them from a single control panel. Users belonging to different domains within an organization keep their domain-specific email addresses but can also see co-workers from other domains in the organization’s global address book. It’s also easy for users to share across domains in Google Docs, Sites, and the rest of Google Apps."

OK I'm dropping Twitter if they don't keep basic authorization (not rewriting my code) but I still check LinkedIn.

I could backup my database and all of the files. And then do the upgrade and see what happens.

But I'd really like to know what I'm getting into. I want to know the philosophy of this MU-3.0 merger. (No, I wasn't at WordCamp.)

I heard WP 3.0 only uses one set of plugins for multiple blogs--Is this default behavior or only if you activate multi-site? How do plugins know if the blogger is using multi-site or not? Does it matter?

Also, what happens to my options and posts? Are they merged into one table? Does the upgrade tool merge our options? I also have an options duplication plugin--so this further complicates things.

You could argue smaller computers are even more "personal" because they fit into your pocket.

Apple in fact advertised they make PCs!

Apple ad: "It's designed to be a personal computer." (1st paragraph) http://bit.ly/9n5z8K

PS: I wrote this before MT's new (ve) offering, which I haven't tried yet. And I still use MT's grid service for several websites.
